Where is the DMZ video? Anyway, I know that Korean Americans are considered foreigners too. I don't like the designation "non-Korean" - just sounds so racist. Why can't the sign just say "foreigner" cause sure, Korean Americans are considered non-Korean too. It's just a word, but it doesn't sound good. And yeah, I think people who are not in any way Korean are cautious about criticizing. However they need a place to vent too 'cause they are facing so many unexpected problems
Hey - I have enjoyed this debate and am glad that there are no hard feelings. What I am worried about though is that people who are not familiar with Korea will get the wrong idea or not understand. Should I delete the entries? I don't know if I even know how! I worry about saying anything sarcastic as it could be misconstrued. Yeah, U.S.A. is known to be very racist towards Middle-Easterners and Mexicans. Canada is known to be more liberal and accepting - still there are ongoing problems towards First Nations. But... what does that have to do with Korea? :P Hope you had a good weekend in Seoul!
